The Lieberman Lab's paper-analytical-device (PAD) work at the University of Notre Dame builds cheap paper-based tests for pharmaceutical quality and related drug-checking tools.
This site collects the public-facing pieces of that work in one place: the PAD image dataset browser, the dataset registry for machine-learning research, and the fentanyl and xylazine test strip dashboards. The parent research program lives at padproject.nd.edu.
The drug-trash dashboard, built from discarded drug packaging and paraphernalia collected by partner harm-reduction and drug-checking programs, is temporarily served as two standalone pages while its usual home is restored: for people who use drugs, and for harm-reduction and public-health partners.
Uploading PAD test data or viewing data uploaded by others requires a Notre Dame NetID and a lab-level upgrade to full member. To request access, contact the PAD team via padproject.nd.edu.
This site's source is on GitHub at PaperAnalyticalDeviceND/PaperAnalyticalDeviceND.github.io and is served through GitHub Pages at padproject.info. The PAD image dataset APIs and card browser at PAD Cards are backed by the Notre Dame Center for Research Computing (crc.nd.edu).
